PRAY FOR THIS FAMILY…9/11/08
by SteveI just received word this morning that the Rev. Jan Brittain, former pastor of New Salem UMC in our district, lost her son, Wade, in a car accident last night. This is, of course, every parent’s worst nightmare, so please remember Jan, her husband Cecil Donague (also a UM pastor), and their younger son, Rylie.

My heart goes out to the Donahue’s. As you said, that is a call all parents fear of receiving. I remember Wade well from drama productions and he was a very active member of the band. He was always high spirited in all that he undertook and was well liked by the students. Wade will be sorely missed as he had a lot to offer society.
