BLOGGING TOWARD SUNDAY…

Music is the language that transcends every cultural and national boundary.  It connects us all with the tethers of our shared faith and our mutual dreams for hope and peace.  It teaches us what can happen when differences come together to make harmony.

This cantata will carry us away to far places on the wings of song.  Negro spirituals, Carribean rhythms, and traditional carols will help us get into the season which stirs our souls more than any other.  Don’t miss the Chancel Choir’s presentation of A World of Christmas, accompanied by June Herring, and with solos by Miki Kirby Brown and Anita Baldwin.
